          Fan who gives back Tom Brady's 400th TD football meets QB

          FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- When New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tom Brady late in the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Jaguars, it was a milestone moment for Brady.

          His 400th career regular-season touchdown pass made him just the fourth player in NFL history to reach that mark, so the football itself had value from a memorabilia standpoint.

          Amendola, however, gave it away to a fan sitting in the front row.

          The Patriots received the ball back from that fan, David Bowen of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and in exchange Bowen had the opportunity to personally meet Brady. Bowen, a season-ticket holder since 1985, was at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday shooting a video with the team's official website.

          "He was very generous, he was very nice to us, it was overwhelming, it's something I'll remember forever," Bowen told the Boston Herald of the experience.

          "He signed some stuff for me and thanked me for returning the ball," Bowen told the Herald. "I got to congratulate an icon on this amazing accomplishment and what he's done. It was great."
