Checking in to see how some programs are doing on the 2013 recruiting classes. Arizona Wildcats
The Wildcats got on the board early with a commitment from offensive lineman Logan Stott (St. George, Utah./Pine View), who has several ties to the Tucson campus. His grandfather taught at the school, his father was a Wildcat and his older sister currently goes to UA. Stott has started varsity since the first game of his freshman season and he'll play guard for the Cats. Staying on the offensive line, one player who will likely be recruited by everyone next fall is massive tackle Jordan Poland (Gilbert, Ariz./Williams Field), who has been offered by both in-state schools. Arizona has also offered in-state offensive lineman Kenny Lacy (Phoenix/Mountain Pointe).BYU Cougars
BYU has the early lead on the commitment trail with three players already announcing for the Cougars. Offensive lineman Brayden Kearsley (Aloha, Ore.) was the first to jump on board. He had a solid showing at the Nike camp in Oregon last June and committed to the Cougars the second he was offered. Kearsley will be joined at BYU by his childhood best friend, Dallin Leavitt (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic). Leavitt is a hard-hitting safety prospect whose father, Jared, played linebacker for the Cougars. Leavitt camped with the Cougars last summer and also committed the second he was offered. Trajan Pili (Centennial, Nev./Centennial) is the third Cougars commitment. He plays both linebacker and defensive end and has been attending the BYU and All-Poly Camps in Utah the past two years. He said attending school at BYU has been his childhood dream since he started playing football.Oregon Ducks
When you're the early leader for two of the top players in the region, both in your backyard, you can make this list, despite not currently having a commitment. Running back Thomas Tyner (Aloha, Ore./Aloha) is already a local legend and the Ducks have a great shot here. Not only is Tyner a tremendous talent in football but he's one of the nation's top sprinters. He was the first Oregon prep to ever run a sub 10.40 100-meter dash last year and the fact that he did it at as a sophomore is pretty scary. Tyner is looking for a school to play football and run track and the Ducks have top-10 programs in each sport. Plus, expect the Ducks to be the team to beat for offensive lineman Evan Voeller (West Linn, Ore./West Linn), once they offer. Voeller, one of the most physically impressive line prospects in the region right now, has impressed at the Nike camp in Oregon the last two years and has an older brother already at Oregon.UCLA Bruins
