Junior linebackers
Michael Hutchings (Concord, Calif./De La Salle) and
Su'a Cravens (Vista Murrieta, Calif.) picked up several new offers over the weekend and have each hit the double-digit mark.Hutchings' latest offer comes from Colorado, which is No. 10 for him. Arizona, Cal, Miami, Michigan, Oregon State, Tennessee, USC, UCLA and Washington have all offered as well."Florida is coming on really strong right now too," Hutchings said. "I also talked to Gene Chizik at Auburn recently and they're going to get involved so that's exciting. Right now, I'm really enjoying the recruiting process and excited to see what other schools jump in and start to recruit me."USC is the childhood favorite for Hutchings and the team to beat, but Cal and UCLA are in the picture as well. The linebacker will likely go through the recruiting process and isn't planning on making an early commitment as of right now.Cravens picked up offers last week from Purdue and Notre Dame and then landed No. 14 from Stanford over the weekend."I'm really excited about all these offers right now," Cravens said. "Purdue is a great school and Notre Dame has incredible tradition. I like Stanford a lot because it's an in-state school with great academics. I'm just really grateful for what I have right now and it's a blessing to have so many schools involved."Oklahoma is the childhood favorite for Cravens and the talk of the Sooners going to the Pac-12 definitely has caught his interest."I already like OU a lot but if they came in to the Pac-12, that would really appeal to me even more," Cravens said. "If they came in along with Texas, that would create an incredible super conference and make the Pac-12 or whatever it would be called, the best conference in the country."
