After going back and forth on whether or not to commit early in the process, wide receiver
Julian Brooks (Chatsworth, Calif./Sierra Canyon) decided to pull the trigger on Tuesday and committed to his dream school, the Arizona Wildcats.Just a week ago, Brooks said he was leaning towards taking some visits and added that Oregon State and Arizona State had made up some ground on Arizona. "I decided to get it done," Brooks said. "The more I thought about it, the more I realized Arizona had everything I was looking for in a school, football wise, academically and socially and it was just a good fit all around."Arizona was my dream school, I even told the coaches that when they offered me in the spring. My whole thing was, I didn't want to commit early and then be a flake and have second thoughts and back out. I wanted my commitment to really mean something. I thought it would be good to take visits but I'm comfortable with it and just happy and relieved to get it done before our season."Brooks is a talented two-way player and was getting looks at safety as well. As a junior, he caught 34 passes for 858 yards and 15 touchdowns.
