Offensive lineman Freddie Tagaloa (Richmond, Calif./Salesian) is down to four schools and has set up his first official visit.Tagaloa is yet another elite offensive lineman in the loaded West Coast class. He hasn't been talked about nearly as much as some of the other lineman in the region but has all the same scholarship offers and is as highly coveted as anyone in the region."My final four schools are Oregon, USC, Cal and Stanford," Tagaloa said. "Those are the ones I'm most comfortable with and the schools that are recruiting me the hardest as well. I camped at Cal and had a great time working with the coaches there. I've been up to Stanford a number of times and attended two of their junior days this year. I've never been to USC but talk with Coach [Ed] Orgeron all the time and really like him a lot."At one point, I was thinking of making an early decision but I'm going to take all my visits and then commit probably in early January. The only visit date I have set right now is with Oregon (Oct. 5) when Cal comes to town and that should be fun watching two of my teams go at it. I've heard so many great things about the campus and the facilities and I have a good relationship with Coach [Nick] Aliotti as well."Tagaloa is also a talented basketball player but said he'll focus on just football in college."Academics are really important to me and between that and playing football, I don't think I'll have time for anything else," Tagaloa said. "I might even double major so I'll have a full load. Right now, I'm focusing on our season and trying to plan my visits. I want to take them all during the season and then commit right after the Semper Fidelis All American game that is in early January."
