After originally planning to make his college choice sometime during the summer, Mission Viejo (Calif.) offensive lineman
Colby Cyburt has backed off that and will now take all five official visits in the fall before committing anywhere. "I've decided to take my time with the process now," Cyburt said. "I think it will be December or January when I make my decision now. I've decided I want to take all my official visits so I can get a better feel for these schools and make sure I'm not making a premature decision."My recruitment picked up and the amount of schools that have offered me really increased a lot. I just want to make sure I get to know all these coaches and learn more about the schools before I make such a big decision."Cyburt said he's still a few weeks away from figuring out all the schools he wants to visit but has a good idea on three them."In no order, I like Stanford, UCLA and Colorado," Cyburt said. "I've already taken unofficial visits to all three of those schools and I like all three a lot. I'm interested in a lot of other schools too but I have to figure out what two I like the most and when can I get out to them."I'm going to try and visit one or two during the season and then do the rest when our season is over. Right now, I'm focusing on our football season as we have a really tough schedule and play the No. 1 team in the nation, Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) in Week 2 of our season. I can't wait to get going and hopefully we'll have a great season."
