Lakewood (Wash.) Lakes two-way standout Cedric Dozier is one of the top athletes in the West region. He shined at The Opening playing safety and receiver and was one of the few players in the event to see action on both sides of the ball."That's how I like it," Dozier said. "I'm used to never leaving the field since I play quarterback and defensive back at Lakes. Schools are recruiting me as an athlete and even though I prefer offense, I'm comfortable on defense too and I'll play wherever needed."My most recent offer is from Arizona and they like me for defensive back, corner or safety. I'm definitely interested in them as I'm wide open right now and interested in everyone. I know a lot of people are saying I'm a lock to stay in-state and play for Washington but anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm wide open and don't have any favorites."The offer from the Cats joins previous offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Vandy and Washington. Dozier indicated he'll take all his official visits before making his decision.
