Bryan Harper (Ontario, Calif./Colony) took in the Washington camp this past weekend and said he was blown away by what he saw in Seattle. Could the Huskies be close to landing the talented defensive back?"Man, I'm speechless right now looking back at that camp," Harper said. "It was an incredible experience and I learned so much about the school. I never knew what great tradition the school has, back in the day, they used to dominate the Pac-10 and I see them going in that same direction."The program is rising fast and I see them going all the way to the top. I love the coaching staff and I really bonded well with the DB coach Demetrice Martin. He's a great guy and a great coach and I learned a ton from him. Like I said, it was just a great experience and I'm definitely sold on the Huskies right now."Sold enough to pull the trigger this early?"I actually told Coach Martin I'm a Dawg already," Harper said. "I wanted to talk to my family some more before calling it 100 percent official but I just did that this morning and called up the coach [Steve Sarkisian] and just gave him my verbal."I'm super pumped up about this and I know this is the best place for me. I felt so at home and I even liked the weather when I was there. I had some other schools I was high on but no one offered what Washington had to offer. I already can't wait to get there and start working out with Coach Martin and I'm ready to run out of that tunnel right now."In addition to the Huskies, Harper also had offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Montana and New Mexico State. He played quarterback and corner as a junior but was recruited to play corner for the Dawgs.
