Under Armour All-American offensive lineman
Josh Garnett (Puyallup, Wash./Puyallup) has narrowed his choices to a final 11 and said he'll take all of his official visits before making his decision. "I was going to narrow things down to eight or nine but I couldn't do it, I like too many schools," said Garnett, who is No. 43 inthe ESPNU 150 and the No. 8 OT in the country. "Without taking any official visits yet, it's hard to cut some of these schools off my list so I decided to keep it big. I promise I wasn't trying to one up Zach [Banner], who cut his list to 10, that's not why I'm at 11."So in no order, my schools are Stanford, Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Auburn, Nebraska, Oregon, USC, UCLA and Washington. I just visited Stanford and Cal last week and loved both schools. They're different but both offer a lot in terms of strong academics, good football programs and coaches I'm comfortable with."Along with those two, I've also unofficially visits Oregon, USC, UCLA and Washington. So my five official visits will be to the five schools on my list I've never seen -- Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Auburn and Nebraska. I may take another unofficial visit this summer to USC and UCLA again as well."Garnett said he's completely open right now and has a good idea of what he's looking for in a school."I want it all, I'm looking for the total package," Garnett said. "I want a school that is strong academically, that has a football program that can compete for championships and a coaching staff that I'm comfortable with and one that will prepare me for the highest level of football."I'm not as concerned with depth chart because I know there will be competition anywhere I go, especially with the schools on my list. I plan to take my time here and I probably won't be ready to decide anything until close to signing day."
