Quarterback
Brett Hundley (Chandler, Ariz./Chandler), who is arguably the top player at his position in the West region, has narrowed his colleges choices down to two and could make his commitment at any time.Hundley had a top five of Arizona, Oregon, Texas A&M, UCLA and Washington, but has now cut his list down to two."I'm down to UCLA and Washington," Hundley said. "I'm still trying to sort things out between those two schools but more than likely, I'll be ready to make my decision by the end of the month."Right now, I really don't have a leader between the two yet, both are great schools and offer a lot. Washington is a great school with a rising football program. They're going in the right direction and I'm close with the coaching staff. Jake Locker has had great success there and I really like the pro style offense they run."With UCLA, it's close to home and I like the warm weather, it reminds me of being here in Arizona. They have a great academic reputation and coach [Rick] Neuheisel and coach [Norm] Chow are great guys and very good football coaches. I don't know much about the Pistol offense they run and I need to do more research on that and see if it's a fit for me."Hundley has already visited both schools and said he's done taking his unofficial trips."There's a chance if I still don't know by the time summer ends, I could take official visits to both schools but I don't think that will happen," Hundley said. "I really want to focus on football my senior year without the distraction of recruiting so I definitely think I'll commit before the summer is over."I want to go into the medical field and both schools are strong in that area. Both are great schools and that's why it's such a tough decision. Right now, I'm just trying to figure out where I'll be most comfortable and where I have the best feel with the coaches and players on the team."I think when a school is the right one for you, you just know, you get that feeling that it's the place for you. I think I'm getting close to that but I'm not there yet. That could be tomorrow or a month from now but when I feel totally comfortable with the school and know in my heart it's the place for me, I'll go ahead and make my decision and like I said, I think that will likely be by the end of the month."
