Aaron Cosby (Louisville, Ky./Northfield-Mt. Hermon), a 6-foot-2 rising senior combo guard, committed to Seton Hall on Sunday afternoon while taking an unofficial visit to the school."It was a great combination of a lot of things for Aaron," said NMH coach John Carroll. "He had a great connection with the coaching staff, they have a program that wants to get back to where they once were, and they are looking to bring in kids who are serious about their academics and Aaron is the epitome of that."Cosby is a native of Louisville, Ky., and has a relationship with both Seton Hall head coach Kevin Willard and assistant Dan McHale that dates back to their time on Rick Pitino's staff at Louisville."The decision really came down to my comfort level with the coaching staff," Cosby said. "They like my game and have talked to me for about three years now since they were in Louisville."Another assistant coach, Shaheen Holloway, also made a big impact on Cosby because of his experience playing the lead guard spot in the Big East."The fact that they have Shaheen Holloway on staff is huge," Carroll said. "He played very similar to Aaron and he has been there and done that in terms of his success in the Big East and Aaron will take full advantage of having access to him all the time.""He said he would be by my side for all four years," Cosby added.Cosby was also swayed by the level of attention the entire coaching staff has shown him recently."They have been recruiting me the hardest over the last six months," Cosby said. "They are going to be recruiting five or six guys in the Class of 2011 and they wanted me to be the first. That meant something to me. My family was comfortable with that and so was I, so I thought why wait."
