• Strong crop of PGs in California

As the spring evaluation period comes to a close, I had a chance to dissect the point guard position in California. The Class of 2010 had a bevy of wing-types (Tyler Lamb, Allen Crabbe, Bryce Jones, etc.) that would eventually become the strength of the class. However, the Class of 2011 has a blossoming collection of point guards that may ultimately become the bright spot of a class that lacks difference makers at most positions.

Standouts

He has made tremendous strides this spring. Many areas of his game have improved, most notably his outside shot and decision making.Jordan Daniels (Etiwanda, Calif./Etiwanda)

Despite his small stature, his skills, savvy and game management speak volumes. He has one of the slickest handles around.Spencer Dinwiddie (Woodland Hills, Calif./Taft)
