He is quick, extremely skilled and can score at a high rate with range beyond the arc. The All-Ohio Red floor general can also run the offense and get others involved. He is slight and needs to add strength, but he is a terrific finisher. Taylor plays with great confidence and competes on both ends of the floor. "Stevie is a gym rat. He has a great work ethic and has done a terrific job honing his skills over the years," said Rob Taylor, his father. "He works out constantly, twice a day at times. Stevie is in the gym on Holidays and takes full advantage of his access to the gym."What makes Taylor special is his ability to score the ball from the point position. So many point guards simply want to get to the rim because they can't shoot very well, but Taylor demands your attention. He can make open shots or create his own by reading the defense when attacking off an on-ball screen. He also seems to be always having fun, which confirms his love for the game. Don't let his size fool you, this kid can play and many coaches have taken notice. Taylor is currently hearing from Charlotte, George Mason, Ohio, Miami (OH), Akron, Providence, James Madison and Montana State. If Taylor continues to consistently play well, this list will continue to grow.Greg Louis (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Dwyer)
