AUGUSTA, Ga. -- This is an essay I wrote for our television coverage about a hidden moment in the middle of golf's most famous day. The story is as simple as it is powerful. A little boy named Craig was diagnosed with a fatal disease when he was 11. His parents asked their family friends, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, to help ease the boy's suffering. Jack found a way to reach out through his television and give Craig a hug from far, far away. I've been moved by the story of Craig Smith and Jack Nicklaus. I hope you will, too.
