In an interview with MLB.com this weekend, baseball commissioner Bud Selig reiterated his wish for an international draft.
"I'm a believer in the international draft and slotting, and I think the whole world knows that," Selig told MLB.com. "When they went to the draft in 1965, they did it because the clubs were so concerned about the Yankees winning all the time."
