The former manager of the Washington Nationals' Dominican program, who was fired in the wake of the Esmailyn Gonzalez scandal, has filed a lawsuit against the team in the Dominican Republic. Jose Baez is seeking more than $100,000 in damages after claiming he was not paid the remainder of his contract, which ran through October. A hearing is set for Sept. 3.
"I'm going to send them to court," Baez said. "They don't want to pay me for my work."
