• The great DNA debate

Here at La Esquina, we've written extensively about Miguel Angel Sano and the multitude of tests and investigations he's gone through in order to prove his age. But this week, the New York Times brought up a new and interesting point about the legalities of the DNA tests MLB administered to Sano.

But what may complicate any U.S. law or statute that tries to limit DNA testing on baseball prospects in another country is the fact the majority of teams, and MLB itself, are also incorporated entities in the Dominican Republic. Such a distinction may prove critical in any legal argument.
