UPDATE: Just hours after the posting of this blog item, Miguel Angel Sano's agent Rob Plummer called to tell me that MLB had just informed the Pirates that their investgation determined that Sano's deceased sibling was born on March 8, 1991 -- before Sano's claimed birthday. This means that charges of Sano using his sibling's birthday as his own in order to appear younger were unfounded.
