• Lo-Tide time

There's a lot that goes into making a great skate video these days. While it takes most companies close to four years to complete a video, Lo-Tide was compiled by a group of friends from Huntington Beach, Calif. in what seemed like only a matter of months.

Lo-Tide is Matt Bublitz's second full-length video and features Tom Karangelov, Ryan Spencer, Andy Smith, Ben Woosley and a ripping part from Bublitz himself. While most filmers are worried about travel budgets and deadlines Bublitz actually made this video while finishing his last semester at University of California, Berkeley. While it is common knowledge that both Tom Karangelov and Ryan Spencer are amazing skateboarders it was Ben Woosley's part that really got me going. What surprised me even more was finding out Woosley works 40 hours a week at a hospital. If this is what these guys can make in their free time while also dropping so many life hammers, I can't wait to see what they do next.

Their video premieres at 8 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 18, in Huntington Beach, Calif. at the Charter Centre Cinemas. Check it!
