In his web series called "Adventures in Transitions," freeskier Banks Gilberti travels from British Columbia to Breckenridge and beyond following storms and contests. Last winter, he took a break from competing in halfpipe to focus on skiing for fun and filming.
"I think you ride the best and have the most fun when you're with your best friends and have people pushing you," Gilberti says. "By focusing on having fun and focusing on trips, I had the most fun year of my life."
This edit, which includes best-of footage from his 2012 winter, just dropped on Wednesday.
