Chris Benchetler: Photographer?
Chris Benchetler is a man of many talents. In addition to being a pro skier (check him out in the new Teton Gravity Research film, "The Dream Factory," on tour now), he's also a filmmaker and artist and pretty good at taking pictures with his iPhone. On Tuesday, Benchetler launched a new website that features his artwork, alongside his skiing.
Benchetler put together this gallery of some of his favorite Instagram shots from his recent travels to Chile and New Zealand.
"Instagram is an incredible way to share your view on nature, art, architecture, and travel," Benchetler says. "It has also allowed me to soak in my day to day experiences, as well as create an opportunity to always have a camera on hand. I look for good light, cool landscapes, sick adventures or action, basically anything you'd like to see in a magazine, on a wall, or have as a memory. I like seeing quality images alongside people's different perspectives and creativity."
