In 2006, Fun Fun Fun Fest booked its first set of acts in downtown Austin, Texas, and it didn't take long for it to become a well-known independent festival for music lovers and artists in the United States. Now in its seventh year, Fun Fun Fun Fest returned to Austin this past weekend with a stacked lineup that included Run-D.M.C., Converge, Santigold, Refused, Bob Mould, Minus The Bear, The Promise Ring, Braid, De La Soul, Public Image Ltd., and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, plus about 30 additional acts ranging from Weird Al tributes to straight-edge hard-core band Youth of Today.

But it was far from just a music fest. Throughout the weekend, the festival also hosted BMX and skate demos for the crowd. Utilizing wood from last month's Texas Toast Jam, ramp builder Ryan Corrigan constructed a course that was presented by Project Loop and ridden by a host of BMXers and skateboarders. ESPN contributing photographer Sandy Carson was on hand to capture everything, from Tom Dugan's airs to Run-D.M.C. bringing the festival to a close.
