Finding a good roommate is a bit like going into a draft without having seen any video or done any research. You might get someone who conveniently forgets to pay the rent, or leaves dirty dishes in the sink, or decides to practice entire symphonies on the glockenspiel at 3 a.m. Luckily for Michael Vandevoort, his former roommate Doug McDermott left on seemingly good terms after getting taken by the Chicago Bulls on draft night.

The only problem? McDermott left all of his clothes in the closet. Vandevoort decided that the best way to get rid of an entire wardrobe tailored for a 6-foot-8 small forward was to sell it off, piece by piece:

Proceeds of the sale will go to support the NorthStar youth basketball program. Before you ask: Vandevoort's mini-garage sale announcement was retweeted by McDermott, so we don't think he's too broken up about having to spend some of his NBA rookie contract money on a suit or two.
