LeBron James' return to Cleveland is the rare story of a star athlete choosing to play for his hometown team. Winning a title in front of your neighbors would be a dream come true for nearly any player, but it just doesn't happen all that often. Joseph Milord of EliteDaily.com took a look at what the NBA would look like if every player ended up playing for his hometown team, and the results are fascinating:

The Bulls would be pretty big winners, keeping Derrick Rose while adding Dwyane Wade, Jabari Parker and Anthony Davis:

LeBron's hometown Cavaliers would keep him, but would lose Kyrie Irving and Andrew Wiggins:

The Clippers would be pretty solid, with James Harden and Kawhi Leonard teaming up:

Chris Paul would go to the Hornets, joining John Wall and Steph Curry in a guard-heavy rotation:

The biggest winner in this scenario? The Wizards, who would combine Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Rudy Gay, Roy Hibbert and Ty Lawson:
